Bremer Reederei E & B GmbH was established as Bremer Reederei Eilemann & Bischoff GmbH in 1951.

During the first 35 years of Bremer Reederei, the company participated in many different activities such as a Liner Service between Scandinavian and German ports. Others activites include Ship Agents and Stevedores in the ports of Bremen and Bremerhaven.

From 1996 onwards, our new shareholders and managing directors focused on the transportation of forest products within the Scandinavian and European regions. Günther Carl Evers, a well known Shipping Manager and reputated forest products expert, guided Bremer Reederei E & B GmbH into a reliable partner in the supply- chain- management of the Scandinavian Forest Industry.

In 2001, Cpt Arne Ehlers joined Bremer Reederei. From 2008 to present, Bremer Reederei E & B GmbH is managed by Arne Ehlers. From it´s humble beginnings, Bremer Reederei has expanded its business fields to a great extent, while keeping it´s traditional values and responsibilities. Today, Bremer Reederei E & B GmbH is capable in offering complete, custom-tailored services to our clients in all relevant Shipping business segments.
